Senior Business Analyst, AI & Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews and workshops with executives, IT teams, and business stakeholders to identify underlying issues and establish project vision, scope, and success metrics.

• Ensure that solutions align with the overall enterprise business strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Analyze current and future state value streams and business processes.

• Spot bottlenecks and explore opportunities for automation or AI integration.

• Measure benefits such as cycle times, reduction in errors, capacity improvements, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

• Gather, assess, and document both functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, decision logic, and user journeys.

• Specify data requirements, model behaviors, set guidelines, define human-in-the-loop interactions, and outline performance, explainability, auditability, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Assist in proofs of concept and pilot programs through test design, feedback loops, training, updates to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and effective communication.

• Collaborate with architects and developers while overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ensure the quality and readiness of business analysis deliverables while mentoring project team members.

• Promote alignment between business goals, implementation strategies, and success metrics.

• Utilize Generative AI tools such as Claude, Glean, and agents to expedite analysis, documentation, and solution design processes.

• Build, nurture, and sustain strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis or product development within the data and analytics sector.

• At least 4 years of experience working in a client-facing consulting role.

• Ability to lead interviews and workshops across various domains and organizational levels.

• Skill in converting vague needs into defined requirements and user stories.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities for conveying complex subjects to non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Visio or equivalents.

• Practical experience using AI to enhance business analysis tasks in client service delivery.

• Knowledge of adoption and change management strategies.

• Acquaintance with industry-standard strategic frameworks.

• Comfort with uncertainty and a keen interest in underlying business requirements.

• Capability to mentor and guide others while contributing to reusable business analysis resources.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
