This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee the strategy for broker growth and develop the annual operating plan, ensuring alignment of priorities, investments, and timelines with enterprise, regional, and segment objectives.
• Establish broker segmentation, targeting, tiering, and engagement frameworks based on market opportunities, performance metrics, strategic importance, and growth possibilities.
• Convert market intelligence, broker insights, competitive analysis, and performance metrics into compelling broker value propositions and go-to-market approaches.
• Create broker campaigns and engagement initiatives that have clear goals, success metrics, responsible parties, and structured follow-up processes.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with brokers, consultants, and intermediary organizations to enhance satisfaction, advocacy, retention, and revenue streams.
• Act as a senior contact for intricate broker issues, encompassing growth prospects, service challenges, renewal threats, and market-related concerns.
• Coordinate the implementation of broker strategy priorities across Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, Analytics, Operations, and regional teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure that broker input shapes product roadmaps, readiness for launch, messaging, and enablement resources.
• Create executive-level narratives, business cases, briefings, and proposals that align broker requirements with growth and service strategies.
• Utilize analytics and performance reports to assess outcomes, enhance broker programs, and discover new avenues for improvement.
• Responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools to expedite research, synthesize insights, and optimize planning, while exercising sound judgment and data stewardship.
• At least 8 years of experience in broker relations, sales strategy, business development, client management, or similar roles within the healthcare/insurance sector.
• Proven track record in developing commercial strategies, operational plans, or go-to-market initiatives that yield measurable business growth.
• Exceptional relationship management abilities with a knack for influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Experience in utilizing market insights, performance metrics, and feedback to formulate strategy, drive decision-making, and craft execution plans.
• Outstanding communication skills with expertise in producing executive-ready documents, recommendations, and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with global health benefits, multinational brokers, consultants, or intermediary channels is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, insurance, employee benefits, or international health markets is preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, governance processes, or broker enablement initiatives is preferred.
• Proficiency in using AI-enabled tools to assist with research, planning, reporting, and communications is preferred.
