This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Establish and uphold Foundant’s brand framework, encompassing color, logo usage, typography, photography, iconography, and illustration.
• Define the brand’s adaptability across various client segments while preserving a cohesive identity.
• Implement product-level visual standards for CommunitySuite, GLM, SLM, SmartSimple, and GivingData.
• Maintain and enhance a scalable brand architecture to support future M&A activities.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales leadership to convert business and positioning strategies into visual standards.
• Create guidelines, templates, and components for non-designers.
• Lead the integration of future acquisitions.
• Produce brand and marketing creative materials, including campaigns, newsletter templates, content assets, sales collateral, web assets, product launches, events, trade shows, and social media content.
• Utilize generative AI creative tools to boost creative output while adhering to Foundant’s brand standards.
• Develop and maintain reusable templates and components.
• Oversee photography and illustration style and execution.
• Scope, brief, and ensure quality control of work from external freelancers or agencies.
• 7–10 years of experience in brand or graphic design.
• Direct responsibility for brand systems or style guides.
• A portfolio that showcases strategic thinking, frameworks, systems, guidelines, and high-quality production work.
• Hands-on proficiency with AI creative tools such as Midjourney and Adobe Firefly.
• Experience designing for multiple client segments, sub-brands, or product lines while maintaining a unified identity.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Proven experience collaborating strategically with cross-functional partners to achieve business outcomes.
• Ability to operate independently as a creative team of one, prioritizing and driving creative strategy and execution.
• Experience in building or evolving brand architecture through M&A or multi-brand growth.
• Capability to execute brand mergers, sub-branding, or brand retirement decisions.
• Experience briefing and managing freelancers or agencies.
