Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create print advertisements following established templates and specifications.

• Prepare press-ready files, ensuring proper bleed, CMYK conversion, resolution, and font management.

• Develop creative content for email and social media advertising.

• Implement revisions and corrections to existing advertisements, often with little notice.

• Conduct proofreading of all work before release.

• Accurately enter and maintain advertisement data.

• Collaborate with the sales team to address questions, revisions, and production concerns.

• Communicate directly with clients via phone and email to gather assets, make modifications, clarify requirements, and obtain approval.

• Utilize AI tools for generative fill, image expansion and cleanup, as well as drafting or refining advertising copy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in print and digital advertising design.

• Advanced proficiency in InDesign; this program is essential and non-negotiable.

• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Experience in preparing files for commercial printing.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level or higher, both written and spoken.

• Strong proofreading abilities in English.

• Capacity to manage an independent workload in accordance with a production schedule.

• Openness to follow written instructions and adapt to process changes.

• Previous experience in direct mail, coupon, or offer-based advertising.

• Experience designing within small, fixed advertisement dimensions and strict copy limits.

• Knowledge of co-op or multi-advertiser print formats.

• High-volume production experience for a variety of small businesses.

• Experience collaborating with global and/or US-based business teams.

• Familiarity with generative fill and expand, as well as language-model tools in advertising workflows.

• A quiet workspace with an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• A portfolio showcasing required print samples; preference given to advertising work.
