This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop the team's motion language: Establish and refine a coherent, adaptable motion framework (principles, pacing, transitions, typography in motion, templates) that ensures the brand is instantly recognizable across all channels.
• Produce exceptional motion work from start to finish: Manage motion design from initial concept to final output across campaigns, social media, web, product highlights, events, and internal communications.
• Craft compelling narratives: Convert intricate concepts (such as energy, markets, and products) into motion stories that are both emotionally impactful and easily comprehensible.
• Uphold a high standard for craftsmanship and consistency: Ensure a consistently high quality across all deliverables, enhancing quality through reusable components, templates, and clear creative direction.
• Function with IC3 execution: Independently organize and deliver non-routine tasks, oversee diverse projects with full responsibility, and consistently meet deadlines to an exceptional standard — comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking calculated risks.
• AI-centric motion workflows: Utilize AI tools to expedite research, storyboarding, style experimentation, animatics, and production — while preserving taste and brand integrity.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Brand, Product, Growth, and Content teams to ensure that motion work aligns with business objectives (such as awareness, understanding, and adoption).
• Strong motion portfolio: Demonstrated excellence in motion design, showcasing storytelling, typography, composition, and pacing.
• Senior IC3-level execution: Proven capability to independently manage diverse projects from beginning to end, navigate ambiguity, and reliably fulfill commitments with minimal oversight.
• Brand-centric approach: Ability to translate brand strategy into motion principles and scalable systems, while adapting for various audiences and contexts.
• Storytelling + clarity: Proficient in transforming complex or technical content into motion that is engaging, clear, and emotionally intelligent.
• AI-first perspective: Practical experience with AI to enhance ideation and production processes (e.g., exploration, reference generation, rough animatics, scripting support).
• Experience in fast-paced environments: Background in startups, scale-ups, or similar settings where rapid pace and shifting priorities are the norm, while maintaining a high quality standard.
• Proficiency in After Effects + modern toolchain: High skill level in AE along with complementary tools (Cinema 4D/Blender is a plus but not mandatory).
• Editing and sound awareness: Comfortable with timing, rhythm, and basic sound/voiceover management to give projects a polished finish.
• Web motion expertise: Ability to apply motion concepts within web contexts (e.g., Lottie/Rive or close collaboration with developers).
• Impact tracking: Skill in linking motion outcomes to performance metrics (such as engagement, completion rates, conversion) and iterating based on insights.
