• Ensure that financial records for clients are accurate and current, which includes documenting transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing ledgers.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, making certain they comply with accounting standards and maintain accuracy.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts to verify accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Supervise payroll processing, which involves calculating and recording payroll transactions while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable by processing invoices, managing payments, and handling collections.
• Assist in tax return preparation and provide support during tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while staying informed about updates in accounting standards and practices.
• Mentor junior Bookkeepers, offering guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• At least 6 years of Australian bookkeeping experience in a public practice setting.
• Proficient in the accounting software Xero.
• Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Competitive Salary: Ranges from 90,000-110,000 Pesos per month (includes 13th month).
