This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure meticulous financial record-keeping across bookkeeping, accounting, and operational finance tasks.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to facilitate prompt billing, collections, vendor payments, and cash flow transparency.

• Conduct reconciliations related to banks, credit cards, vendors, customers, and inventory with exceptional precision.

• Assist in the month-end close process by evaluating transactions, rectifying discrepancies, and preparing accurate financial data.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop for entering, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining financial records.

• Generate financial reports and accounting summaries to provide leadership with insights into business performance.

• Aid in inventory-related accounting functions, encompassing cost tracking, purchase documentation, and transaction accuracy.

• Detect bookkeeping discrepancies, process inefficiencies, or reporting challenges, and contribute to enhancing accounting workflows.

• Systematically arrange financial documents, records, and supporting schedules to ensure information is easily accessible and audit-ready.

• Effectively communicate with internal teams regarding accounting inquiries, missing details, and financial documentation requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

Must-Have:

• - Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• - Proficient in QuickBooks, whether Online, Desktop, or both.

• - Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• - Experience in performing reconciliations and assisting with month-end closing activities.

• - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• - Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to follow-through.

• - Strong organizational and communication abilities in a remote work environment.

Nice to Have:

• - Background in inventory-based businesses.

• - Accounting experience in flooring, construction, retail, warehousing, distribution, or home improvement sectors.

• - Experience in supporting financial reporting for business owners or operational teams.

• - A process-oriented mindset aimed at enhancing bookkeeping accuracy and consistency.

• - Experience working with U.S.-based businesses or clients.
