Senior BIM/VDC Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee model-based coordination and digital delivery for intricate AEC projects while fostering client relationships, strategic initiatives, and the growth of the firm.

• Ensure alignment of BIM/VDC scope, schedule, budget, and staffing with the overarching project objectives.

• Act as the primary BIM/VDC liaison for owners, design teams, contractors, trade partners, and internal personnel.

• Implement QA/QC protocols for models, documentation, and coordination milestones; proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Assist and guide Project Leads in conducting multidisciplinary coordination meetings.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, contractors, design collaborators, and industry stakeholders.

• Create and uphold BIM/VDC standards, templates, workflows, and best practices across various projects and offices.

• Oversee, mentor, and develop BIM/VDC coordinators, specialists, and modelers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

• 8+ years of experience in BIM, VDC, construction technology, or digital project delivery; at least 3 years in a leadership role for BIM/VDC on complex AEC projects.

• Proven track record in supporting client relationships, pursuits, proposals, or presentations.

• Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, and comparable platforms.

• Experience in developing BIM Execution Plans, clash detection workflows, and model standards.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities; capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
