Senior BIM Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Senior BIM Specialist I serves as a senior production role for individuals who have opted for a career in modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination.

• You will utilize your extensive Revit expertise to oversee project modeling workflows, manage model integrity and structure, and ensure that TEECOM’s deliverables are precise, well-organized, and fully coordinated.

• You will collaborate closely with engineers to convert markups and design intentions into clear and constructible documentation.

• You will proactively identify coordination challenges, resolve modeling conflicts, conduct clash detection, and lead BIM-related decisions to maintain project momentum.

• As a production leader, you will provide training and mentorship to Designers in Revit, modeling best practices, documentation standards, and TEECOM guidelines. You will exemplify a disciplined, process-oriented approach to production and contribute to enhancing the BIM workflows employed throughout the firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience in BIM production.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the AEC industry with a strong command of Revit, coordinated modeling, BIM execution, and construction documentation across various projects.

• Proven experience in supporting technology system layouts (telecom/ICT, audiovisual, security, acoustics, or network) and collaborating with engineers to translate design intent into coordinated BIM outputs.

• Capability to manage and sustain coordinated Revit models, generate precise documentation with minimal supervision, and independently resolve production challenges.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to oversee BIM workflows across multiple projects, lead coordination-centric production tasks, and assist engineers and project teams.

• A solid grasp of cross-discipline coordination and building system interactions; capable of interpreting markups, comprehending design intent, and anticipating modeling impacts with limited guidance.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
