This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Develop and enhance payment routing across various PSPs/MIDs and evaluate scenarios (fallback, cascading, smart routing) for primary products.
• Increase approval rates across all geographical regions and products, while scaling billing systems to accommodate new volumes.
• Identify growth opportunities for LTV through billing strategies: billing models, retry logic, pricing, etc.
• Conduct cohort analyses and assess the influence of billing practices on customer retention.
• Initiate and oversee MIDs and establish the legal entity framework for diverse products and regions.
• Collaborate with descriptors, MCC, and risk profiles, while managing partnerships with providers, acquirers, and financial institutions.
• Integrate billing with new products and sales funnels, and swiftly establish new MIDs to support scaling efforts.
• Configure payment solutions for various business models (subscription/one-off/hybrid).
• Monitor critical metrics (approval rate, chargeback rate, refund rate, VAMP/fraud indicators) and create an alerting system.
• Minimize chargebacks and fraud without sacrificing revenue.
• Oversee billing projects from start to finish and coordinate with marketing, product, and finance teams.
• Focus on tasks that yield significant business outcomes.
• Possess over 3 years of experience in a similar position within a subscription-based business.
• Bring practical experience with payment systems and payment orchestration platforms.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of subscription economics and how to manage LTV effectively.
• Experience with MIDs, billing models, and antifraud measures is essential.
• Demonstrate strong billing analytics skills: metrics, cohorts, and their impact on LTV/retention, along with full-cycle chargeback and dispute management experience (alerts, reason codes, scheme programs).
• Employ data-driven decision-making while balancing revenue growth with associated risks.
• Exhibit high ownership and proactivity — you identify opportunities and take initiative, rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned.
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or above.
