Senior Benefits Analyst, Income Protection – Leaves

📋 Description

• Create competitive design and communication strategies for retirement, life, disability, and time off programs in the United States and Canada, leveraging market benchmarking and data analytics.

• Collaborate with senior leadership and external brokers for strategic vendor management, renewal negotiations, and roadmap suggestions to meet evolving business requirements.

• Track federal, state, and provincial legislative changes to ensure full regulatory compliance, maintaining compliance trackers and supplying business requirements for system updates.

• Work alongside Human Resources Service Delivery, Employee Relations, Payroll, and external administrators to guarantee precise policy implementation, resolve complex escalated issues, and develop clear standard operating procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in designing retirement and leave benefit plans and policies.

• In-depth understanding of benefit programs in the United States and Canada, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Paid Family and Medical Leave, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability regulations.

• Advanced Data Mastery: Demonstrated ability to aggregate, manipulate, and analyze complex data sets, census files, and detailed plan documents.

• Technical Expertise: Strong practical experience with Workday and ServiceNow platforms is highly desirable.

• Strategic Agility: Outstanding skills in business case development, negotiation, stakeholder relationship management, and influencing outcomes within a matrixed corporate environment.

• Communication Skills: Professional fluency in both written and spoken English, with a proven track record of presenting actionable, data-driven insights to executive leadership.
