Senior Batch Developer – UNIX, C, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Engaging in design, development, and testing activities.

• Assisting throughout the entire development lifecycle for service creation.

• Analyzing and addressing significant complex business and technical product integration issues.

• Writing, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting programs on Unix and Linux platforms.

• Proposing and developing alternative strategies for problem resolution.

• Producing relevant documentation for work assignments, including program code and technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in application development and batch programming within a C, Unix, Linux, and Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) environment.

• Experience with Healthcare IT systems, particularly in Claims and/or MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System), is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in batch job automation and notification services.

• Expertise in complex SQL development and query optimization.
