Senior Backend Software Engineer, Scala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop the foundational systems that enable AI Agents to operate at scale

• Create designs focused on reliability, performance, and adaptability

• Leverage AI to analyze designs, scaffold code, generate tests, and document choices

• Advance the capabilities of AI tools in everyday tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong coding abilities in Scala and a keen interest in continuous learning

• Familiarity with SQL and relational database management

• Exceptional skills in system design

• Background in distributed systems

• A sense of product ownership, with a focus on delivering value to customers

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Polish

• Experience with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and GraphQL

• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems

• Experience using the Akka framework

• Background in functional programming libraries such as Cats, Fs2, ZIO, Http4s, etc.
