Senior Backend Software Engineer, PHP/Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• You will be part of our WP Rocket Addons team.

• Responsible for the development and upkeep of most of WP Media’s services.

• Collaborate actively with a team of seasoned software engineers to design, implement, test, deliver, and maintain services.

• Engage closely with the Product, Marketing, and Support teams.

• Define, lead, and collaborate on technical solutions and specifications for user stories and EPICs in our backlog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in PHP and Python.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience in developing, releasing, and maintaining services used by tens of thousands of users.

• Familiarity with automated code validation and testing.

• Experience with Django, WordPress, and/or Node.js is preferred.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices.

• Previous experience in remote work is a plus.
