Senior Backend Software Engineer, Integrations Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate projects involving multiple stakeholders and engineers to achieve substantial business results.

• Establish the direction for essential technical domains to facilitate rapid growth.

• Design, develop, and take ownership of new product features and infrastructure utilizing TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Construct and enhance the Integrations Platform along with shared components for authentication, lifecycle management, observability, and publishing.

• Empower customers to enhance their security measures and demonstrate their effectiveness.

• Mentor engineers and play a key role in shaping Vanta’s engineering culture.

• Assist in the progression of declarative, low-code, no-code, and AI-driven integration development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development within the industry.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and scaling backend systems, APIs, and platform components.

• Demonstrated technical leadership in teams or complex projects.

• Prior experience in a startup setting or an environment that emphasizes a bias for action.

• Experience working on greenfield projects.

• Interest in security concepts or prior experience in the security field.

• A readiness to responsibly utilize AI to enhance skills and boost efficiency and impact.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
