Senior Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for the comprehensive delivery of significant product updates.

• Oversee the release lifecycle, ensuring that high-impact features are deployed reliably while maintaining optimal production performance.

• Utilize AI tools like Claude to expedite boilerplate tasks and execution, all while retaining oversight of logic, security, and architecture.

• Work closely with product teams to enhance and integrate AI capabilities into the Archy platform.

• Partner with the Frontend team to connect the Java Spring Boot backend with the React/TypeScript frontend.

• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.

• Identify and implement strategies to boost team efficiency.

• Estimate and plan development efforts for various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 6 years of experience as a backend engineer.

• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal; minimum B2 level of English.

• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot or comparable frameworks.

• Practical experience with Snowflake or enterprise cloud data warehouses for managing and querying extensive datasets.

• Proven track record of successfully releasing high-traffic features or executing major platform migrations.

• In-depth understanding of utilizing AI tools as an assistant without compromising code quality or problem-solving abilities.

• Strong emphasis on testing, stability, and performance.
