Senior Backend-Entwickler – Agents, Deutsch

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Working with autonomous Inbox Agents who respond to new ticket events

• Creating templates for customer agents

• Defining handoffs from agents to humans and ensuring process compliance

• Developing Harness Engineering for over 100 agent tools

• Designing system prompts and skills for industry-appropriate understanding

• Enhancing the Knowledge Base and its AI search through tools, system prompts, and skills

• Developing voice agents based on LiveKit

• Optimizing LLM infrastructure: model selection, caching, streaming, retries during provider outages, context compacting, and RAG search

• Monitoring cross-provider usage, reducing costs, and measuring improvements with evaluations

• Working with TypeScript, Convex, Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Vercel AI SDK, and Convex Agent Component

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in building AI agents for production environments

• Fluent in both German and English

• Experience with delivered agent features relied upon by real users

• Personal insights into retrieval, evaluations, tool design, and the limitations of current leading models

• AI-native working style with nearly all code written using AI

• Up-to-date knowledge of new AI models and research

• Willingness to work autonomously and take full responsibility

• Ability to perform well under pressure

• Quick learner

• Generalist approach rather than purely specialized

• Experience with TypeScript and the mentioned web/AI stack
