Senior Backend-Entwickler – Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Autonomous Inbox Agents will operate independently, managing processes for new ticket events.

• Create agent templates for customers.

• Define transitions from agents to humans and ensure adherence to processes.

• Develop Harness Engineering for over 100 tools, including system prompts and skills.

• Enhance the Knowledge Base and its AI search capabilities regarding tools, system prompts, and skills.

• Build voice agents based on LiveKit.

• Optimize LLM infrastructure: model selection, caching, streaming, retries during provider outages, context compression, and RAG.

• Track cross-provider usage, reduce costs, and conduct evaluations for quality assurance.

• Work on the hausverwalter.ai platform using TypeScript, Convex, Next.js, React, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui.

• Fluent in English and German.

• Over 2 years of experience in building agents for production environments.

• AI-native in production.

• Delivered agency features relied upon by real users.

• Possess a strong viewpoint on retrieval, evaluations, tool design, and the limitations of current top models.

• Primarily a builder; quick to release rough v1 versions.

• Stay updated on new AI models and research.

• Writes almost all code with the help of AI.

• Accustomed to working autonomously and taking full responsibility.

• Performs better under pressure.

• Quick to learn new concepts.

• Considers oneself a generalist rather than a specialist.
