Senior Backend Engineer, Product Neuro Forge Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Enhance and refine the functionality of the AppFollow product.

• Assist in developing a system that automates user interactions with customer reviews (including tagging, responding to reviews, generating reports, etc.).

• Support systems designed to gain insights from customer feedback (ratings and reviews).

• Contribute to AI management technologies (such as semantic analysis and summarization).

• Maintain and support internal and public APIs for core data entities.

• Design, build, maintain, and document a codebase that is efficient, testable, reliable, secure, and scalable.

• Collaborate with fellow developers to design and enhance the overall system architecture.

• Engage with legacy services.

• Work alongside the Platform team to deploy applications across various environments, ensuring smooth operations while adhering to established standards, practices, and processes for maintainable systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend.

• At least 3 years of experience using asyncio in Python development.

• Expertise in FastAPI for developing API endpoints.

• Strong SQL skills, particularly in MySQL or PostgreSQL, along with familiarity with ORM frameworks (preferably SQLAlchemy).

• Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB).

• Familiarity with message brokers (like RabbitMQ or Kafka).

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (such as Pytest).

• Upper intermediate proficiency in English.

• Preferred additional qualifications include:

• Experience in machine learning projects (especially NLP with large language models).

• Experience in integrating with large language models (development of assistants, retrieval-augmented generation, etc.).

• Familiarity with vector storage databases.

• Experience in data processing pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).

• Experience with cloud services (AWS).

• Involvement in research and development projects.
