Senior Backend Engineer – Lodging and Cars

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Implement comprehensive technical integrations with external partners.

• Develop clean and efficient code using Scala or other JVM languages.

• Investigate and resolve issues within existing complex codebases.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Operations to break down business requirements.

• Assume complete responsibility for the development lifecycle of new product features.

• Contribute to the design of highly resilient services.

• Engage in thorough code review processes.

• Strong expertise in Scala or other JVM languages (Java, Kotlin).

• Demonstrated success in microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and service communication protocols (gRPC, Pub/Sub, REST).

• Capability to quickly adapt and navigate technical ambiguities.
