Senior BackEnd Engineer, Kentico

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain web applications and content management systems utilizing Kentico Xperience and ASP.NET.

• Develop and enhance Kentico capabilities including modules, page templates, widgets, and components.

• Implement integrations with various external systems, APIs, and services.

• Introduce new functionalities and refine existing applications.

• Diagnose and resolve production-related issues.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Assist in system design and contribute to a scalable backend architecture.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Enhance application performance, stability, and maintainability.

• Keep technical documentation up to date.

• Provide ongoing support for existing Kentico applications.

• Adhere to secure coding practices and development standards.

• Operate within CI/CD and containerized (Docker) environments when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET 5+ / .NET 6+.

• Practical experience with Kentico Xperience.

• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and system integrations.

• Proficient with SQL Server.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles and secure coding practices (OWASP).

• Familiar with Git version control.

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Docker is an advantage.

• Good command of English communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work remotely.
