Senior Backend Engineer – Grafana Search & Storage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

• Actively participate in shaping our roadmap and defining your own career goals.

• Collaborate with your team to implement new features, then analyze the outcomes to refine and enhance them.

• Lead projects from the initial concept through to operational deployment once they reach our customers.

• Design, build, manage, and sustain essential systems, taking charge of their reliability, performance, and availability.

• Participate in your team's on-call rotations and take responsibility for the services you oversee.

• Mentor and assist fellow team members, engage in design discussions, and collaborate effectively with the team.

• Acquire new skills by deepening your understanding of our cloud product and its users, while familiarizing yourself with the codebase of a large distributed system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with the Go programming language.

• Proven knowledge and experience in working with large distributed systems.

• Ability to deliver projects independently, from requirement gathering and brainstorming to shipping the product to customers.

• Experience in developing software that operates in the Cloud or in systems engineering.

• Proficiency in writing clean, robust, and efficient software that can be easily maintained by others.
