Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend systems.

• Supervise the development and upkeep of our GraphQL API.

• Oversee deployments within a Kubernetes environment.

• Ensure the applications are reliable and scalable.

• Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and QA teams.

• Innovate and implement enhancements to our products proactively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1+).

• Strong proficiency in Ruby programming.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in developing GraphQL APIs.

• Familiarity with DevOps principles.

• Experience with Roda, Sequel, or dry-rb is highly desirable.

• A background in e-commerce, the creator economy, or marketplace products is a significant advantage.
