Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement scalable backend solutions utilizing C# and .NET

• Spearhead technical designs for REST APIs and services that involve complex workflows

• Advocate for clean architecture and maintainable backend designs across distributed microservices

• Decompose extensive workflows into reusable services and components

• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to engineers, and elevate engineering standards

• Ensure that systems are resilient, transactional, and ready for production

• Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend engineers on API and workflow design

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend engineering

• Proficient in C# and .NET

• Proven experience in designing production-quality REST APIs and backend workflows

• Comprehensive understanding of clean architecture and the principle of separation of concerns

• Extensive knowledge of Entity Framework, SQL, and relational database systems

• Familiarity with handling concurrency, idempotency, and ensuring transactional consistency

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, as well as distributed microservices architectures

• Strong skills in debugging, architecture design, and problem-solving

• Proficient in English

• Nice to Have:

• Experience in banking, fintech, CRM, or customer onboarding platforms

• Familiarity with matching engines, orchestration workflows, or distributed systems

• Background in mentoring engineers and leading technical projects

• Proficient in Portuguese
