Senior Backend Engineer, AI-Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• AI-Enhanced Development: Seamlessly integrate AI tools (such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot) into your daily processes for swift code creation, debugging, and tackling complex challenges.

• High-Volume Systems: Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET Core 6+ that can accommodate thousands of simultaneous users.

• Microservices Framework: Create and refine distributed systems with an emphasis on high availability, employing Event-Driven architectures and message queuing technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus).

• AIDLC Testing: Attain a required 97% code coverage by utilizing AI to produce extensive unit, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

• Performance Optimization: Enhance SQL (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) schemas and queries to achieve optimal application performance.

• Technical Oversight: Engage in thorough code reviews that emphasize performance, observability, and compliance with "Simple Code" standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical coding experience in contemporary backend settings.

• Essential AI Skills: Extensive experience with AIDLC (AI-Driven Lifecycle) and an agentic programming approach.

• Advanced proficiency in .NET Core 6+ and C#.

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).

• Practical experience with Azure (Functions, App Services) or AWS.

• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
