Senior Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop complex functionalities in backend systems, ensuring performance and scalability;

• Lead technical analyses and propose architectural improvements in medium to large-scale projects;

• Conduct code reviews, identifying opportunities for refactoring and standardization;

• Design and implement robust APIs, focusing on security and data integrity;

• Monitor and resolve production incidents, collaborating to define best operational practices;

• Serve as a technical reference for less experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development using Python;

• Strong knowledge of software engineering, including algorithms, data structures, system design, automated testing, and best development practices;

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, along with knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security;

• Familiarity with version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines;

• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS;

• Practical knowledge of Generative AI applied to products, including concepts such as LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and context retrieval strategies;

• Understanding of vector databases and semantic search, knowing when and how to utilize these approaches in AI-based solutions.
