Senior Backend Developer (Python)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Create robust and scalable backend solutions utilizing Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient senior-level experience in backend development using Python (such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask).

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, along with data modeling and consumption in applications.

• Understanding of engineering best practices including object-oriented programming, clean code structure, version control using Git, and collaboration via pull requests.

• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies (unit tests and/or integration tests).

• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Acquainted with specification-driven tools (like specify-cli, GitHub Spec Kit) and organizing technical context.

• Insight into prompt engineering for LLMs, capable of crafting instructions, contexts, and constraints to minimize ambiguity.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Background in AI-first strategies, leveraging generative AI to enhance development while ensuring quality and security.
