Senior Backend Developer, Node/Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend services utilizing Node.js, NestJS, and event-driven architectures.

• Create integrations with Artificial Intelligence providers and platform services, ensuring scalability, observability, and security.

• Design and refine data models and analytical pipelines within PostgreSQL.

• Engage in defining architecture, conducting technical reviews, and evolving the engineering standards of the platform.

• Contribute to the advancement of CI/CD processes and operations within Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments.

• Leverage AI agents and tools to expedite the software development lifecycle, from technical definition through implementation and testing.

• Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to devise innovative and scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Python and FastAPI.

• Proven experience in building REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, BullMQ, or similar.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, encompassing data modeling and query optimization.

• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience in the observability and monitoring of distributed applications.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant architectures.

• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to enhance productivity and quality in software development.

• Technical proficiency in English for reading documentation and collaborating with international teams.
