Senior Backend Developer, Node.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Become a member of a team focused on developing cloud-based, event-driven services.

• Collaborate closely with Front-End developers to create efficient, secure, and robust solutions.

• Assume complete responsibility for your code — from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• Contribute actively to an Agile team culture that prioritizes testing, documentation, and continuous delivery.

• Engage in an on-call schedule as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Vanilla JavaScript and/or TypeScript, as well as modern frameworks like React and Node.js.

• Demonstrated experience in developing performant, resilient, and secure backend services.

• Strong grasp of asynchronous and event-driven workflows.

• Familiarity with architectural patterns and protocols such as HTTP, REST, and/or GraphQL.

• Strong commitment to testing discipline and producing testable, maintainable code.

• Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision towards common team objectives.

• Proficiency in English: B2 (Upper Intermediate) minimum.
