Senior Backend Developer, Banking Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and testing of our core banking systems and services.

• Contribute to the formulation of the technical architecture for the product and core banking migration.

• Assist in converting product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.

• Provide highly available and scalable services within a production environment.

• Foster the technical culture and assist in team development.

• Generate innovative ideas for new initiatives and technologies.

• Collaborate with project leads, product managers, and other software developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or a related quantitative field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the position offered or a related role.

• Proficiency in Profile Scripting Language (PSL).

• Experience with Hierarchical databases such as GT.M/MUMPS.

• Development experience with core banking systems (FIS Profile).

• Strong skills in a Linux/UNIX application environment.

• Knowledge in data migration and system upgrades.

• Familiarity with the Banking & Financial Services domain.

• Understanding of the US Banking domain.

• Skills in requirements analysis and functional documentation.

• Experience with system integration utilizing Service-Oriented Architecture.

• Demonstrated project ownership and successful delivery.
