Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement new features;

• Diagnose and resolve application issues;

• Support and maintain existing legacy applications;

• Develop and manage unit tests;

• Uphold code quality in accordance with established best practices and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Internet Software Development, or a similar field - preferred;

• Proven experience in software development;

• Familiarity with database technologies;

• Proficient knowledge and practical experience with the following technologies:

• PHP 8.3+;

• Symfony 6.4+ / Zend Framework 1 (ZF1) / Composer / PHPUnit / Object-Oriented Programming / Design Patterns / PSR standards / SOLID / KISS / Calisthenics;

• Experience with APIs;

• Understanding of REST / HTTP protocols;

• Competence in Linux;

• Familiarity with Docker;

• Setup and configuration of development environments;

• Knowledge of code versioning;

• Proficient with Git (GitLab);

• Experience with PostgreSQL / Oracle;

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ;

• Knowledge of Redis;

• Experience in an Agile methodology environment (Scrum).
