Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development and enhancement of backend services utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.

• Assist in the development of new backend solutions using Go.

• Create, maintain, and advance APIs, integrations, and backend services.

• Aid in system modernization, migration/refactoring of business rules, and enhancement of existing workflows.

• Work with PostgreSQL, executing queries, conducting analysis, and making necessary adjustments.

• Collaborate with the team to establish technical solutions, optimal practices, and development standards.

• Take part in technical refinements, story analysis, estimations, and architectural discussions.

• Ensure the quality, readability, maintainability, and healthy evolution of the codebase.

• Assist in problem investigations, bug resolutions, performance enhancements, and technical maintenance as needed.

• Collaborate closely with the PO, QA, Tech Lead, and other developers to ensure consistent project deliveries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience as a Senior Backend Developer.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Practical experience with Node.js.

• Familiarity with NestJS.

• Experience in, or a strong practical understanding of, Go/Golang.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for queries, analysis, and support during investigations.

• Experience in building and maintaining REST APIs.

• Strong technical analysis skills and comprehension of business rules.

• Capability to work on system modernization initiatives, system evolution, and code refactoring.

• Effective communication with the technical team and partner departments.

• Dedication to quality, best practices, and responsible project delivery.
