Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

• Contribute to the services that support our mobile applications—from the API serving millions of clients to the push notification system that keeps users informed about their favorite football teams and competitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience with Elixir and OTP, having developed applications for production environments.

• A keen interest in building systems that are highly available, resilient, and capable of scaling.

• Proficient in high-level system architecture design.

• A strong sense of craftsmanship, focusing on code quality and maintainability, while incorporating testing into your coding practices.

• Familiarity with caching strategies, message queues, and service-oriented architectures.

• Competence in setting up infrastructure and managing Linux servers.

• Experience with deployment tools, monitoring, alerting, data visualization, load testing, and/or debugging live systems.

• Excellent communication skills.

• A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the willingness to propose innovative ideas.

• Proficient in both oral and written English, as Forza Football operates on a global scale with many international employees.
