Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop features, enhancements, and fixes for enterprise applications utilizing .NET and ReactJS.

• Design, create, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

• Implement business rules and facilitate integrations with both internal and external systems.

• Engage in defining and evolving the application architecture.

• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and the ongoing enhancement of the codebase.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to technical and security standards.

• Manage and control the versioning of application source code.

• Apply secure development practices throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Ensure compliance with security recommendations for web applications and APIs.

• Implement mechanisms for authentication, authorization, and data protection.

• Support security testing, conduct vulnerability analysis, and address identified issues.

• Contribute to the definition and maintenance of secure development standards.

• Foster a security-conscious culture within the development team.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and multidisciplinary teams to gather and implement requirements.

• Participate in the complete development lifecycle, from analysis to production deployment.

• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), rollouts, and ongoing application support.

• Address corrective, evolutionary, and incident-related tasks for systems under your purview.

• Ensure compliance with the organization's established development standards, methodologies, and processes.

• Act as a technical reference for the development team.

• Share knowledge and promote development and security best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or related fields.

• At least 5 years of experience in development with .NET and ReactJS.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing APIs and integrations.

• Experience in projects employing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).

• Experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.

• Background in medium to high complexity enterprise projects.

• Essential technical expertise: .NET (Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET).

• Proficient in C#.

• Experienced in ReactJS.

• Skilled in RESTful API development.

• Knowledgeable in system integration.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with GitHub, Git, or TFS.

• Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Understanding of web application security.

• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.

• Understanding of API security.

• Knowledge of software architecture and development best practices.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.
