Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development: You will design and create robust, scalable web applications as well as service-oriented interfaces to incorporate complex business logic.

• Operations & Support: You will serve as the technical contact for third-level support, analyze functional requirements, and determine the root causes of incidents.

• Database Architecture: You are tasked with planning, managing, and optimizing our databases.

• Coordination: You will coordinate your tasks within the team and execute technical specifications in a clear, structured manner during sprint phases.

• Requirements Analysis: In direct collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will assess new functional and technical requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience: You possess a degree in computer science or equivalent training and have a minimum of five years of experience in backend development within the PHP ecosystem.

• Development know-how: You have strong experience with PHP (versions 7.3 to 8.4), PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Slim, etc.), MySQL database administration, SOAP web services, and JSON APIs.

• Teamwork: You have experience working and communicating within development teams (Git/GitLab, SCRUM).

• Quality assurance: You are familiar with automated testing and have experience with various testing techniques (e.g., Codeception).

• Frameworks: You have extensive hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Laravel) and are familiar with modern package management, such as Composer.

• Analytical ability: You can quickly grasp and adapt to new topics.

• Language skills: You possess business-fluent German language skills (minimum C2).
