Senior Back-End Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold intricate back-end systems.

• Create and maintain secure, scalable integrations with third-party services and external APIs.

• Participate in AI-related projects, including the integration of AI services and the support of data-driven features.

• Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Operate independently to address complex issues and implement features with a high degree of quality and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Apply DevOps best practices while managing AWS infrastructure and services.

• Uphold high standards in code quality, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

• Utilize Docker and similar containerization tools to enhance development and deployment efficiency.

• Monitor and assess system performance using tools like Datadog, proactively identifying areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 4 years focused on back-end development.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently with a significant level of ownership.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in effective collaboration with remote teams.

• Strong proficiency in various programming languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and AWS services, covering deployment, monitoring, and scaling.

• Extensive experience with Docker and containerization tools.

• Familiarity with logging and analytics tools such as Datadog.

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and experience contributing to full-stack solutions is considered a plus.
