Senior Back-end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable product systems for both frontend and backend.

• Collaborate with smart contract developers to establish interfaces and workflows between backend services and blockchain networks (both EVM and non-EVM).

• Assist internal operations, investor services, and compliance teams with tools for automation, auditability, and observability.

• Set and uphold backend engineering standards, best practices, and security protocols throughout the technology stack.

• Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go (Golang), Python, C++, and TypeScript.

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, system design, and API development.

• Experience with integration of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), third-party services, and systems requiring security and compliance.

• Familiarity with blockchain/Web3 data providers like The Graph, Alchemy, or Moralis is a plus.

• Previous experience with tokenized asset platforms, DeFi protocols, or custodial/wallet infrastructure is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Solidity or other smart contract programming languages is a bonus.
