Senior Back-End Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve agile deliveries, partnering closely with designers, front-end developers, and product teams to ensure that solutions are efficiently implemented and meet business and user requirements.

• Develop and implement secure APIs and integrations, focusing on maintaining platform performance, stability, and consistency in data and processes.

• Conduct monitoring and automated testing to guarantee that services are fast, reliable, and accessible under all circumstances.

• Engage in shaping the technical roadmap by identifying potential bottlenecks and suggesting solutions that enhance value delivery to end users.

• Play a role in fostering and enhancing a technical culture of excellence, with an emphasis on quality and agile methodologies.

• Reflect on and validate ideas while consistently contributing to the ongoing evolution of both the product and the customer experience.

• Assume responsibility for the continuous enhancement of solutions, ensuring that deliveries meet the expected quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree.

• Demonstrated experience in Python, particularly with frameworks such as Django, Restless, DRF, and FastAPI for creating scalable and maintainable APIs and web systems.

• Familiarity with asynchronous processing, microservices architecture, and scalable APIs.

• Knowledge of AWS services, including S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda Functions, and the Serverless Framework.

• Proficient with Git, maintaining a well-organized commit history to ensure traceability and quality of delivery.

• Comprehensive understanding of development processes and agile workflows, including application lifecycle integration with front-end, QA, and DevOps.

• Advanced understanding of project architecture, design patterns, and best practices in backend development, with a focus on code readability and testability.

• Experience with relational databases, Django ORM, migrations, and query optimization to achieve high performance.

• Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Pytest, unittest, Playwright, and external service mocking.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, automated deployments, and monitoring within cloud environments.
