Senior Azure & GCP Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance data pipelines within Azure, GCP, and Databricks environments, ensuring they are efficient, high-performing, and reliable;

• Create solutions for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning;

• Integrate data from various sources and systems, including Firebase;

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and standardization as code;

• Identify opportunities to enhance data architecture while proposing scalable and sustainable solutions;

• Proactively troubleshoot issues and maintain platform stability;

• Engage in technical definitions, contributing best practices and facilitating knowledge sharing;

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between technical and business objectives;

• Support efforts to modernize and consolidate data within cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Engineer;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure;

• Practical experience with Databricks;

• Familiarity with GCP and BigQuery;

• Experience in using Terraform and implementing infrastructure as code;

• Understanding of data governance, standardization, and best practices in data engineering;

• An analytical, proactive, and adaptable mindset;

• Strong communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and a solution-oriented approach;

• Preferred: experience in automation, CI/CD, and modernizing data platforms.
