Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage Azure infrastructure utilizing Terraform across development, staging, and production environments.

• Take ownership of and enhance Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML), focusing on artifact management, approvals, and automated deployments.

• Implement and uphold secure Azure networking (VNets, subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, NSGs) to guarantee private access to essential services.

• Configure and enforce security best practices throughout the platform (RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals, Key Vault, secrets handling).

• Ensure dependable hosting and operational integrity for platform components (App Service, Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, ACR).

• Monitor the health and performance of the platform; troubleshoot incidents using Azure monitoring, logs, and diagnostics.

• Support the infrastructure needs for AI processing, including facilitating secure and scalable execution for workflows and batch/experimental pipelines (and optionally Azure ML / Azure OpenAI).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, particularly: App Service, Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, ACR, and monitoring/diagnostics.

• Practical experience in production environments using Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production settings.

• Strong comprehension of Azure networking: VNets, subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, NSGs, and secure private access methodologies.

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML), encompassing approvals, artifacts, and automated deployments.

• Solid understanding of cloud security principles: Managed Identities, Service Principals, RBAC, Key Vault, and secrets management.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities using logs, monitoring tools, and Azure diagnostics to address infrastructure and application challenges.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning infrastructure.

• Nice to have: Experience with Azure OpenAI infrastructure.

• Nice to have: Proficient in utilizing AI tools in daily workflows.
