Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and establish Azure tenant platforms that adhere to Microsoft CAF standards.

• Create, deploy, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform.

• Implement Azure landing zones to facilitate the migration of applications and workloads.

• Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines, source control, and project workflows using Azure DevOps.

• Automate processes for resource provisioning, scaling, and infrastructure management.

• Develop and support automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Implement and oversee Azure security measures, including IAM configurations.

• Enforce governance and ensure policy compliance across Azure environments.

• Monitor infrastructure settings to guarantee performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.

• Offer technical guidance, troubleshooting, and operational support to stakeholders.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts related to cloud governance, automation, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Over 8 years of practical experience in DevOps and cloud environments.

• Strong background in designing and implementing Azure tenant platforms in accordance with Microsoft CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework).

• Proficiency in building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.

• Experience with Azure landing zones for application and workload migration.

• Expertise in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, source control, and project oversight.

• Strong skills in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Knowledge of Azure security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and governance best practices.

• Experience in enforcing governance and policy compliance through management group inheritance.

• Capability to monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to provide technical guidance and support across various teams.

• Proficiency in English (B2 or higher).
