Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes Expertise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a team of DevOps Engineers to design, construct, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure that is redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-healing.

• Advocate for infrastructure as code and automation wherever feasible.

• Design, develop, and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure, which includes clusters, namespaces, and deployments.

• Engage in projects independently with customers and stakeholders, collecting their requirements and updating them on new features and enhancements.

• Develop and enhance existing operational practices and procedures.

• Ensure the implementation and upkeep of compliance and security practices within operational infrastructure.

• Responsible for training and mentoring junior DevOps engineers as well as new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software/computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills (proficiency in the English language).

• Over 5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.

• More than 4 years of experience using CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Gitlab, or similar).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK) and experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS, Rancher, etc.).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, etc.) and experience working with containers (Docker or Docker-Compose, etc.).

• Experience with scripting languages as needed (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript, etc.).

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team with minimal supervision.
