Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Automate the creation of infrastructure utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Manage application configuration and enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through deployment tools.

• Take ownership of the build and release cycle for client projects.

• Share the responsibility for deploying releases along with other operational and maintenance tasks.

• Improve operational infrastructure including Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools (Consul), and metrics tools such as Graphite and Grafana.

• Provide operational assistance to the engineering team and aid in migrating legacy infrastructure to the cloud.

• Establish and uphold operational best practices.

• Engage actively in the recruitment of culturally aligned engineers and mentor them to support their career advancement.

• Collaborate with founders on team strategy and contribute to long-term technical planning.

• Work with distributed teams (US & India) and collaborate with customer SMEs to ensure alignment with business logic.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• At least 4 years of experience in configuration management and systems engineering, particularly in large-scale Agile environments.

• Over 4 years of experience in Linux or Windows administration.

• More than 4 years of experience with Git and a solid understanding of branching and merging strategies.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and platform services.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud automation tools like Ansible or Chef.

• Over 2 years of experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS), AWS ECS, and Docker.

• You are proactive and focused on solutions, with a strong motivation to enhance reliability and scalability.
