Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will manage access rights to the infrastructure. We expect meticulous attention to detail regarding who has access to the servers and why.

• Implementing concepts for the stable operation of AWS cloud services that can withstand our dynamic growth.

• Maintaining Unix/Linux servers – configuration, updates, and automation, with a comprehensive understanding of the operating system's activities.

• Responding to incidents based on in-depth log analysis (DD, Elastic). Seeking root causes (Root Cause Analysis) rather than merely restarting services.

• Supporting development teams to ensure continuous and smooth system operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience: In a DevOps/SysAdmin role, including hands-on experience with AWS.

• Strong knowledge of cloud services, backed by experience in traditional administration (a background in maintaining physical servers/Data Centers is a plus).

• Proficiency in Linux: The terminal is your natural work environment.

• Integrity and Responsibility: You combine a "Can Do" attitude with accountability for the entrusted "keys to the kingdom."

• Humble towards technology: You understand that everyone makes mistakes, but you know how to fix them.

• Analyzes problems from a "360-degree" perspective: You consider issues from all angles – security, performance, and long-term implications.

• Connects cloud with "metal": We work on AWS, but we seek someone who understands the physical nature of servers.

• Language proficiency: English at least B2 (we operate globally).
