Fabric Cloud Engineer – Platform Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Manage tenants for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Oversee capacity planning, workspace governance, and the overall health of the platform.

• Monitor data pipelines, on-premises/cloud gateways, and OneLake operations.

• Implement and maintain Git integration for version control and collaboration.

• Conduct proactive monitoring to ensure reliability and early problem detection.

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, including: - Subscriptions and resource groups.

• - ADLS Gen2 storage.

• - Key Vault and Azure Monitor.

• - Private Endpoints and Managed VNets.

• - Microsoft Purview.

• Enforce security best practices, including RBAC, identity governance, and network security.

• Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Cloud.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments.

• Ensure all deployments adhere to secure, policy-driven standards.

• Collaborate across teams to support a scalable and self-managed data ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience.

• Strong skills in managing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

• Extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering and infrastructure design.

• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation.

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with Python for automation tasks.

• Familiarity with AI capabilities and Copilot.

• Understanding of Databricks interoperability within data platforms.

• Strong skills in governance, security configuration, and compliance.

• Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.

• Excellent prioritization and cross-team collaboration skills.

• Clear and effective communication skills.

• Language: English (C1) (Mandatory).
