This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Design and sustain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks across both UI and API layers.
• Create, debug, review, and maintain automation code effectively.
• Develop automated scripts aimed at functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Incorporate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and devise automation solutions accordingly.
• Validate changes to the platform by testing tickets from the Platform squad.
• Implement software engineering best practices, which include version control and reusable automation design.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools and LLM-based agent frameworks to speed up the creation and maintenance of tests.
• Formulate AI-assisted testing methods, prompting strategies, and agent capabilities.
• Provide support for performance and load testing activities.
• Analyze test results and performance data to identify root causes and communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, the QA Automation Architect, as well as Engineering, Product, and Platform teams.
• Share expertise and offer technical guidance to QA engineers.
• Drive continuous enhancement within testing processes, tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
• Report directly to the QA Automation Architect / QA Leadership.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SDET, QA Automation, Test Automation Engineering, or a comparable engineering role.
• Proficient hands-on programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
• Capability to write automation code from the ground up, debug existing code, perform code reviews, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Background in API automation and testing, including REST APIs, JSON, Postman, or REST Assured.
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience or a strong interest in AI tools and LLM-based agents for test creation and automation workflows.
• Understanding of performance and load testing concepts and tools like JMeter, k6, or Locust.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with AI agent workflows or prompt engineering.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with RPA or automation-focused technology.
• Nice-to-have: Proficiency in additional programming languages, testing frameworks, or developer tooling.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is considered a plus.
