This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Create and sustain the reasoning layer for operational engines, which includes workflows that direct and execute tasks according to business logic.
• Convert manual processes into automated solutions with Engine Leads and refine them using operational insights.
• Develop AI agents utilizing Claude, Codex, or similar technologies, supported by assessments and manual quality assurance.
• Define business rules, establish data-quality checkpoints, and outline human handoff safety measures.
• Collaborate with domain specialists in Payments & Debt, Tendering & Partner Activation, and other operational sectors.
• Integrate internal systems and external services through APIs, webhooks, n8n, and comparable workflow tools.
• Create and manage frontend applications using TypeScript with the team’s AWS-native stack, databases, and S3.
• Implement deployment processes via GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Oversee automation delivery from the discovery phase to production, monitoring, and iteration.
• Evaluate success by tracking the manual hours saved each week and reporting this metric.
• Address workflow issues and enhance automations based on practical usage.
• Keep abreast of advancements in AI models, agent frameworks, and prompting strategies, applying pertinent developments.
• 3–5 years of experience in automation roles with a demonstrable portfolio showcasing hours reclaimed through code replacing manual efforts.
• Proficiency in API integration and connecting disparate systems.
• Extensive experience with low-code automation platforms, such as n8n or equivalents.
• Practical experience in constructing agents using Claude, Codex, or similar tools within real logic flows.
• Systems-thinking capability to translate complex human processes into streamlined architecture and implement within an engineering stack.
• Consistent practice of utilizing evaluations and manual QA prior to production deployment.
• Comfort in collaborating directly with non-technical domain experts and converting process knowledge into automation.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and various workflow tools.
• Background in developing frontend applications with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AWS-native technologies, databases, S3, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience in high-growth startups or operations-focused environments is advantageous.
• A background in data engineering or business intelligence is a plus.
• Active involvement with the AI tooling landscape is a bonus.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English fluently.
