Senior Automation Engineer – Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automation workflows that minimize manual tasks and enhance accuracy across back-office operations.

• Utilize artificial intelligence, machine learning, and contemporary automation tools to address intricate operational issues and uncover new efficiencies.

• Partner with Client Operations, Finance, People, and other G&A teams to recognize automation prospects, collect requirements, and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

• Construct and sustain integrations between various platforms (Salesforce, JIRA, HRIS, ERP, etc.) to facilitate seamless data transfer and process automation.

• Create robust, well-documented solutions that include proper error management, monitoring, and testing to ensure long-term reliability.

• Assess automation performance, pinpoint optimization possibilities, and refine solutions based on user insights and data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in automation engineering, process automation, or a similar technical role. Experience in a SaaS or rapidly growing environment is advantageous.

• Expertise in automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, Make, or similar), scripting languages (Python, JavaScript), and API integrations. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and LLM-based automation is highly regarded. Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, APIs, and integration methodologies; capability to configure actions, link data sources, and troubleshoot agent workflows.

• Knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA, and prevalent business systems (HRIS, ERP, finance tools) is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex processes and develop scalable, elegant solutions.

• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Preferred 1+ year(s) of experience with Agentforce (or equivalent agent building experience).

• A proactive individual with a keen interest in automation and AI. You are inquisitive, resourceful, and eager to create solutions that simplify work for others.
