Senior Automation Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in developing scalable and well-managed solutions that can adapt to technological advancements using Red Hat technologies.

• Engage in continual learning and development to acquire new skills and technologies.

• Travel weekly from Monday to Thursday to meet with clients at their locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Top Secret SCI clearance is required.

• Proven experience in delivering implementations based on architectural designs.

• Demonstrated capability to lead technical projects, including collaborating on timelines and maintaining project and technical documentation.

• Ability to recognize stakeholder requirements and establish expectations concerning project timelines and scope.

• Experience in working effectively across diverse teams and with various stakeholders.

• Knowledge and willingness to mentor others.

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or higher, in computer science or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in delivering successful consulting engagements on modern cloud platforms.

• Prior experience with source code management tools such as GitLab.

• Experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or its derivatives.

• Familiarity with the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

• Extensive technical expertise in one or more automation technologies, including Ansible Core, Python, YAML, PowerShell, and Network Device Automation.

• Practical knowledge of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with automation platforms such as Chef and Puppet, along with technical experience in networking, storage, computing, or ServiceNow.

• Capable of collaborating with the leadership team to encourage the adoption of automation strategies, with hands-on experience in agile, scrum, and DevOps environments.

• A demonstrated history of serving in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives, including substantial experience presenting to C-level executives at large organizations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
