Senior Associate, Stars – Operations Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain forecasting models that estimate Oak Street’s performance across various CMS Stars measures.

• Continuously analyze performance data to pinpoint improvement opportunities and propose strategies for enhancing ratings.

• Extract insights from performance data and emphasize market-specific opportunities for field leaders and Oak Street’s senior leadership team.

• Generate clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to convey performance metrics, trends, and recommendations to Oak Street senior leadership (VP, SVP, & C-suite) and other essential stakeholders (Oak Street Medical leadership).

• Establish a reconciliation process to ensure accurate and comprehensive payer data files for Oak Street.

• Collaborate with payer data teams and Managed Care Operations to resolve payer data gaps.

• Routinely examine escalations from stakeholders concerning data quality.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering to enhance data quality.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, Engineering, and Managed Care Operations, to incorporate analytical insights into Oak Street’s overall quality improvement initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience; 2+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement.

• Excellent written communication skills; highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Analytical and data-savvy; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Capability to create business cases, conduct ROI analysis, and perform financial analysis.

• A commitment to excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high-quality work products.

• Quick learner, comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity.

• Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large volumes of information.
